McKinnon Web Services was founded on the principle that a customer's website is the Property of the customer - not that of the design company. The client should have the codes and the passwords to allow others to make edits to the web pages. We would prefer that you keep McKinnon Web Services as your website administrator but that choice is yours.

At McKinnon Web Services we believe that small business should have the opportunity of owning an affordable website yet still get to compete globally.

Our competitors tend to deploy one of two tactics during the design and roll-out phases of their website creations, they either design the sites with such complex coding OR insist on retaining the passwords thereby forcing you to continue to use them as your web administrator - they call this "customer retention" - we call it "a hostage situation". Most of the time, we have found that customers are just not informed or educated enough in the web design industry, and therefore rely on their designer and/or provider to educate them. This has been to the detriment of many website owners, having found themselves in the “hostage situation” as stated above.

At McKinnon Web Services we provide you with a copy of all the pages and passwords on CD. We believe this information is our customers to own. With open and honest communications, we will earn their trust, gain repeat business and grow with word-of-mouth advertising.

McKinnon Web Services also take the visually impaired into consideration by creating every web site with special access codes so all visually impaired individuals can access your site.
